MailFoundry April Statistics

Here are the MailFoundry statistics for April 2008. The change we implemented to reject RBL connections had a huge impact on the volume of email processed and spam filtering in general.

  • Total Messages: 3,836,034
  • Allowed Messages: 182,261 (4.75%)
  • Blocked Messages: 3,653,773 (95.25%)

A quick breakdown of why messages were blocked:

  • RBL 3,304,447 (86.14%)
  • Spam 303,200 (7.90%)
  • RFC 35,826 (0.93%)
  • RP DNS 4,700 (0.12%)
  • RP Sanity 3,926 (0.10%)
  • Virus 1,534 (0.04%)
  • Redlist 140 (0.00%)
