This evening between 10:30pm and 12:00am (Central US time) we will be performing some emergency maintenance on one of our routers. We do not expect any outages as other redundant routers should take over. We will post an update this this entry when the the maintenance is completed.

All maintenance is completed. There were no issues during the maintenance.

Hey Guys.
I have been with doreo for a few years now.
I am wondering what the wisdom of using a blog is to notify your customers of outages when the doreo network itself is offline. Isn’t that sort of like needing to drive to the gas station to get more gas in your car, when you’ve already ran out of gas? If your car is out of gas, you ain’t going anywhere. Likewise, if the doreo network is down, would not also your doreo blog be down?

The blog is not actually hosted on the Doreo network. We have it on a server outside our network so we can use it communicate with clients in case there would be any network related issues.
