  • Allowed Messages: 100,556 (17.62%)
  • Blocked Messages: 470,067 (82.37%)

A quick breakdown of why messages were blocked:

  • RBL 317,574 (55.65%)
  • Spam 114,409 (20.05%)
  • RFC 27,481 (4.82%)
  • RP DNS 1,939 (0.34%)
  • RP Sanity 8,131 (1.42%)
  • Virus 516 (0.09%)

    Hello Farzad,

    Sorry, but web site stats are just a bit too sensitive to post in the blog. No sense giving the competition too much of a heads up.

    We post the MailFoundry stats to give clients and potential clients an idea of just how effective MailFoundry is. The normal comment we receive is “wow!”.

    Those stats are on par for what I’ve seen posted at webmasterworld. People seem to get 80% spam, and the rest is legitimate mail.
