January was a very ‘odd’ month for uptime at Doreo so I’m going to post two different sets of uptime statistics. We had a bit of a long outage at the beginning of the month. This outage, however, was during a planned maintenance period. Normally we don’t record downtime during a maintenance period.
Uptime excluding maintenance

- mail31 – 99.964% (6 outages 16 minutes)
- minbar – 100.0%
- vorlon – 100.0%
- web32 – 100.0%
- web43 – 100.0%
- whitestar – 100.0%
Uptime including maintenance
- epsilon – 99.532%
- mars – 99.521%
- mail31 – 99.496%
- minbar – 99.530%
- vorlon – 99.545%
- web32 – 99.534%
- web43 – 99.530%
- whitestar – 99.527%
We have put procedures in place changing how we do router/switch maintenance so hopefully we will not run into this issue again.
